PROJECT 04 · RESTAURANT · DEWAS BYPASS

An unexpected plot.
A destination to dine.

A triangular plot on Dewas Bypass became the starting point for Mr. Arpit Rajput’s restaurant. A collaboration between young minds brought together a hybrid structure, a striking glass frontage and several ways to enjoy a meal—from gazebo seating to open terrace fine dining.

THE DESIGN IDEA

Let the shape of the site
shape the experience.

The project brings a distinctive dining concept to an unconventional site. The building, entrance, open seating and landscape are considered together rather than treated as separate elements.

01

A triangular plot, a shared ambition

The brief was to create a luxury dining ambience on Dewas Bypass. The triangular site called for a composition that connected the restaurant building with its outdoor spaces and road-facing experience.

02

Two structural systems, one design

The rear portion uses reinforced cement concrete (RCC). At the front, a pre-engineered steel building (PEB) and glass create the restaurant’s architectural identity. The combination brings the solid rear construction and open frontage into one composition.

03

Make arrival part of the experience

The wooden deck entrance gives arrival a deliberate rhythm. The proposed views show a defined approach, warm lighting and a glass-fronted building that makes the dining space visible from outside.

04

Give guests different ways to dine

Open seating with gazebos introduces a relaxed outdoor setting. The open terrace concept adds fine dining under the sky, while the front includes an Eat & Drive concept. Each setting contributes a different mood to the same destination.

05

Carry the concept into drawings

Landscape planning, footing and column layouts, brickwork, anchor bolts and steel connection details document the work behind the visual concept. The site photograph records the steel frame during construction.

THE ARRIVAL

A frontage that invites you in.

The proposed entrance pairs a wooden deck with glass, steel and warm evening light.

OUTDOOR DINING

A slower meal. An open-air setting.

Gazebo seating, planting and suspended lighting create the proposed outdoor dining atmosphere.
