Architectural andPROJECT 03 · RENOVATION · BHOPAL, MADHYA PRADESH
For Mr. Nilesh Agnihotri, the starting point was an existing single-storey house. S.N. Architects developed the renovation drawings, elevation and interiors to give the home a new architectural direction—from its street presence to the rooms within.

THE STARTING POINT & THE PROPOSAL
A renovation begins with an existing place. The original site photograph and proposed elevation show the shift in architectural direction.

The proposal is a design visualisation. The site photographs below document construction stages.
THE DESIGN JOURNEY
The renovation brought architectural drawings, exterior design and interior spaces into the same conversation.
The original house gave the project its starting point: an established site and a familiar address. The design task was to imagine how this home could develop a different character.
The proposed elevation introduces a strong vertical frame, layered balconies and a warm, shaded terrace. The composition creates depth and a more defined presence along the street.
The studio developed drawings for the renovation alongside the elevation design. This documentation formed part of the project’s architectural scope, connecting the visual proposal with the design details.
The daughter’s room, master bedroom, mother’s room and bathroom each have a distinct mood. Furniture, storage, lighting and surface finishes are considered together, giving every room its own character.
The supplied photographs show the home at construction stages, with scaffolding, exposed surfaces and the emerging façade. They provide a view of the work behind the polished visualisations.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Warm finishes and considered lighting connect the interior studies, while each room responds with a different arrangement and atmosphere.
A soft, expressive room with a study corner, display shelving and a warm palette. The second view brings the wardrobe and work surface into the composition.

Muted colours, a layered headboard wall and soft lighting create a calm setting. The bed, seating and wall treatment are composed as a complete room.

Warm timber tones connect the bed wall, storage and television unit. Two views show how the finishes and lighting work across the room.

Stone-toned surfaces, a wall-mounted vanity and a glazed shower enclosure give the bathroom a clean, coordinated appearance.

FROM DESIGN TO SITE
These four site photographs document the renovation taking shape. They show construction progress rather than a finished-home photoshoot.
